Background and starting point:

The idea behind the different Categorization Schemes is to provide the ability to "slice and dice" dictionary/thesaurus definitions from multiple perspectives -- in theory, no matter where you're coming from, we should be able to get a "drill-down" that will end up with the data elements you are looking for.

Also, we've installed the Semantic Mediawiki extensions, so that we can also use Properties to extend relationships. This is as yet untested.

Right now, we have an issue with the fact that, for large pages consisting of many terms, it is only possible to categorize at the page level. We're exploring different approaches to this, and welcome new suggestions. Bnichols 17:16, 17 June 2008 (EDT)
