Background and Goal
We are compiling existing sets of data models and standards documentation and pulling out the definitions for the terms used. We will collate these and encourage members to participate and help to cross-reference the terms and maintain a Thesaurus available to users of Investment Data. We are focused on professional practitioner materials, and will concentrate initially on clarifying areas of emerging practice and the "nuts and bolts" of implementation -- SQL/UML,XML dialects, etc.
Resources
[Similar thoughts] are being experimented with in other communities. These are both examples of practice (good or bad) and resources for sharing content. We're very much looking for ways to either include or link to relevant and reputed sources.
